Zone of Action is an upcoming First Person Shooter set to release in the winter of 2026, with development starting in 2019. The game is backed by its founders and features three distinct game modes. 

The game has three main modes:

1. Horde Mode: An action-packed, round-based system where players face waves of increasingly strong enemies. It includes a point system for perks and buffs, enhancing gameplay as the match progresses. Players will fight enemies, mini-bosses, and face off against a big boss, all while exploring a rich lore set in both indoor and outdoor environments.
2. Classic Mutiplayer: This mode includes classic game types such as Team Deathmatch (TDM), Capture the Flag (CTF), Free-for-All (FFA), and Search and Destroy (SND). 

The Zone of Action demo only includes half of what the first map has to offer. Majority of the features are disabled untill full release. (Unless you are a QA/Internal tester.)

Yes, There will be boss rounds with massive health and abilitys. Theres more to the boss rounds but we won't spoil it here.

5-6 hours is what we are aiming for currently. This will tie into general game progression as well.

Yes! The Horde Mode will feature a round-based system with a point system that rewards players with perks and buffs, which become increasingly important as the difficulty escalates and the enemies get stronger over time.

Zone of Action is scheduled for release on PC. However, we have future plans to bring the game to consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation Network (PSN). 

Zone of Action will be downloadable through our website and the Steam store. 

The game is backed by its founders, who have provided support throughout its development process. A Gofundme will be setup as well soon!

Absolutely! The custom badges and colors awarded to founders with a green tag in the official Discord will remain intact even after the release of Zone of Action. These distinctive features, including the custom badge and unique name color, will be permanently associated with their accounts, ensuring their special status is maintained in-game, both in the lobby and during matches.  

Yes, Zone of Action does feature microtransactions, but rest assured, they are strictly limited to cosmetic items such as gun skins, icons, and player titles. These additions are purely optional and focused on enhancing the visual appeal of the game. They are carefully balanced to avoid any significant impact on the core gameplay experience.

Currently, yes, the Zone of Action launcher is the primary access point for the game. However, we have exciting plans to expand accessibility and cater to a wider audience, including free-to-play options. In the near future, we intend to release Zone of Action on popular platforms such as Steam, GOG, Unreal, and other networks. This expansion will ensure that players can enjoy the game through their preferred platforms, making it more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Zone of Action has been in active development since 2019. It is worth mentioning that the game is primarily being crafted by a dedicated team of just two developers who are balancing their work on the game alongside their real-time jobs and family commitments. Despite these challenges, the team is fully committed to bringing Zone of Action to life and delivering an exceptional gaming experience to the community. 

Yes the goal is to have this game for under 5 USD on the steam store.

Depends on how bad the community wants it but the idea in mind is that we keep the game co-op if we do end up going the multiplayer route.
